Privacy Policy

    Last Updated: August 13, 2026

    1. Introduction

Welcome to FakeXPost.com ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being clear about how our browser-based social media mockup generators, optional accounts, and paid advanced-export access handle information.

By accessing or using FakeXPost.com, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our practices, please do not use our service.

    2. Information We Collect

    2.1 Information You Provide

Local Editor Data: Text, images, names, handles, messages, and other mockup settings used for normal creation and export are processed in your browser. A standard image download stays on your device and does not, by itself, upload or save that content to our servers.

Local Drafts: The editors may use your browser's local storage to restore an in-progress draft after a refresh. These local drafts stay on your device and can be removed through your browser's site-data controls. FakeXPost does not currently provide cloud-saved projects, team collaboration, or an API.

Account and Entitlement Information: If you create an account or purchase a paid pass or subscription, we collect account identifiers such as your email address and the access level or entitlement associated with your account.

Payment Information: Stripe processes checkout and payment-card information. We do not receive or store your complete card number. We may receive billing status, transaction identifiers, customer or subscription identifiers, and other records needed to provide access, support purchases, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.

Communications: When you contact us via email or support forms, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your messages to respond to your inquiries.

    2.2 Automatically Collected Information

Usage and Product Analytics: Analytics is off by default. Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics measurement is sent unless you explicitly choose “Accept analytics.” After acceptance, we may collect a query-free page path and coarse product events such as editor start, export, error occurrence, template use, pricing view, checkout outcome, entitlement state, and premium-feature access.

Analytics Content Boundary: Our product events are designed not to include mockup text, names, handles, messages, images, payment details, or free-form error messages. Stable internal tool, template, offer, and feature identifiers may be included.

Browser Storage and Analytics: Essential features may use local browser storage for drafts, theme, authentication, secure purchase activation, and your analytics preference. The preference is not stored in a cookie. Our Google Analytics integration keeps analytics and advertising storage denied, so accepted analytics is limited to cookieless measurement.

    • Essential Storage: Supports the choices or records needed for site functionality, security, account access, and purchase activation
    • Optional Analytics: Loads only after explicit acceptance and uses stable internal labels rather than user-created content, account identifiers, payment data, or free-form text

    Analytics preference

Checking the choice saved in this browser…

Choosing Essential only withdraws analytics consent immediately for future activity. Your choice is stored in local browser storage, not a preference cookie.

    3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

    • Service Provision: To provide, maintain, and improve our social media mockup generators, accounts, and paid advanced-export access
    • Personalization: To customize your experience and remember your preferences
    • Analytics and Improvement: To analyze usage patterns, identify trends, and optimize performance
    • Communication: To respond to your inquiries, send service updates, and provide customer support
    • Billing and Access: To process paid passes or subscriptions, confirm entitlements, manage renewals or cancellations, and handle refunds, disputes, and support
    • Security and Fraud Prevention: To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, abuse, fraud, and illegal activities
    • Legal Compliance: To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
    • Marketing: With your consent, to send promotional materials and updates about new features

    4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

    • Service Providers: We use providers for hosting, authentication, payment processing, analytics, customer support, and other site operations. We share only the information reasonably needed for those services, subject to their contracts and privacy practices.
    • Payment Processing: Stripe processes purchases and manages related billing information under its own privacy policy. We receive limited transaction and entitlement information needed to fulfill the purchase.
    • Analytics Partner: If you accept analytics, Google Analytics receives limited cookieless measurements under Google's privacy practices. We do not send mockup content, account identifiers, payment data, or free-form error text in our product events.
    • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety.
    • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the new entity.

    5. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. These may include:

    • SSL/TLS encryption for data transmission
    • Access controls for systems that process personal data
    • Third-party providers selected for appropriate security capabilities
    • Monitoring and maintenance appropriate to the Service

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You use our service at your own risk.

    6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Specifically:

    • Unsaved editor content used for ordinary browser-based creation and export is not stored by FakeXPost; local browser copies remain under your control
    • Local editor drafts remain in your browser until you clear the relevant site data or your browser removes it
    • Account and entitlement records are kept while the account or access is active and for a limited period afterward for support, security, restoration, and legal compliance
    • Billing and transaction records are kept as needed for accounting, tax, payment disputes, fraud prevention, and other legal obligations; Stripe applies its own retention practices
    • Analytics is collected only after acceptance and retained according to our configured Google Analytics settings; aggregated measurements may be retained longer
    • Support communications are kept as reasonably needed for customer service, security, and legal compliance

    7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

    • Right to Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
    • Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
    • Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your personal information under certain circumstances
    • Right to Restriction: Request limitation of processing of your information
    • Right to Data Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
    • Right to Object: Object to processing of your information for certain purposes
    • Right to Withdraw Consent: Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time using the Analytics preference controls above

To exercise these rights, please contact us at support@aureliansyndicate.net. We will respond to your request within 30 days.

    8. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from your jurisdiction. By using our service, you consent to the transfer of your information to our facilities and third-party service providers with whom we share it as described in this policy. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information.

    9. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from children under 13 without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information.

    10. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, services, or applications. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these third parties. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit before providing them with your information.

    11. Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers provide a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. FakeXPost does not rely on DNT as a substitute for your choice: analytics remains off and the Google Analytics script is not loaded unless you explicitly accept analytics. You can withdraw that choice at any time in the Analytics preference controls above.

    12. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

    • Right to know what personal information is collected, used, shared, or sold
    • Right to delete personal information held by us
    • Right to opt-out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information)
    • Right to non-discrimination for exercising your CCPA rights

    13. GDPR Compliance (European Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We process your information based on the following legal grounds:

    • Consent: You have given clear consent for processing
    • Contract: Processing is necessary for a contract with you
    • Legal Obligation: Processing is necessary for compliance with legal obligations
    • Legitimate Interests: Processing is in our legitimate interests and does not override your rights

    14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a new "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of our service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
